OTES Training
According to the Department of Education, training for teacher evaluators will be offered regionally beginning in June 2012, and will continue throughout the next two school years. While the training is designed to prepare the estimated 5,400 local building administrators who will need to perform evaluations, other educators are welcome to participate. ODE has the capacity to train approximately 15,000 people by the 2013-2014 school year.
Upon successful completion of the three-day state-sponsored training and an online assessment, the evaluator will be a credentialed OTES evaluator.
