Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy

The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (Mid-Ohio ESC) provides Occupational and Physical Therapy Services to client school districts through the availability of qualified and professional therapists. These therapists provide a number of services to client districts. They conduct assessments, write goals and objectives for individual students, attend IEP meetings, schedule services for students, participate in transitioning children from early intervention to preschool, from preschool to kindergarten, and from kindergarten to school-age levels. They provide information and guidance regarding beneficial therapies and maintain rosters of students with disabilities requiring related services and assist districts in adhering to compliance timelines.

Mid-Ohio ESC Special Education Occupational and Physical Therapists participate in professional development and training in special education software for writing IEPs, as well as any changes/updates or any other issues of related services in special education. They assist with Alternate Assessment issues and in the provision of Free Appropriate Public Education. They also participate in the Medicaid School Billing program.
