(INITIAL, REFRESHER AND AUTISM SPECTRUM)
Crisis Prevention Institute Initial and Refresher Training is a safe, non-harmful behavior management system designed to help human service professionals provide the best possible Care, Welfare, Safety, and SecuritySM of disruptive, assaultive, and out-of-control individuals even during their most violent moments.
You will have a workbook to take notes in as well as pre- and post - tests to complete so please bring something to write with. Also, wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes are best). When the physical restraint portion of the class is taught and practiced, you will be asked to remove scarves, ties, and any jewelry that could scratch.
