All Boards Appreciation Evening

On Monday evening, more than 80 attendees were honored at the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center’s All Boards Appreciation Program. Board Members and Superintendents from the school districts in the Mid-Ohio ESC’s region enjoyed hearing about the customized services that Mid-Ohio ESC provides for area school districts.
Mid-Ohio ESC Superintendent Linda T. Keller thanked all Board members for their service to the students in the region. The ESC Board of Governors President Mary Dixon took this opportunity to welcome the group and share some Holiday greetings. The ESC Board of Governors Vice President Doug Theaker was congratulated on his many honors and years of service to the Mid-Ohio ESC and surrounding districts, county organizations and veteran agencies.
Lisa Cook, MOESC Elementary Literacy coach presented a variety of options to increase Reading and Literacy for young children.
Chris Jones, of F.I.R.S.T. School discussed his experiences of providing options and hope for past and current students, which includes celebrating their successes.
Christie McElfresh, MOESC Orientation and Mobility Specialist, showcased her recent experience of learning about and teaching visually challenged students.
“Mid-Ohio ESC is proud to highlight the specialized services that we are able to provide for school districts,” Mrs. Keller stated. “Often our districts can’t do it alone and that is where Mid-Ohio ESC has the experts in the field to support their needs.
