Waiver

TOPIC: Hear from an expert about waivers, including I.O. waivers, transitions waivers, Level I waivers, home care waivers and self waivers. Discussion will include information on how to apply for a waiver, deciding whether or not your child needs a waiver and the changes in the laws.
AUDIENCE: Designed especially for parents, school personnel and representatives from community agencies.
PRESENTER: Gary Tonks, Executive Director of ARC of Ohio, a statewide association representing more than 330,000 Ohioans with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. He is an expert on Ohio’s Medicaid program and other waivers available for individuals with disabilities and speaks on this topic across the state.
CEUs AVAILABLE: Two hours of CEUs are provided for SSAs, Adult Services Day Hab, Investigative Agent, Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent (Services/Programs Support Stream) and County Board Members.
