Busy week of PD at Mid-Ohio ESC
Orton-Gillingham is A hands-on, personalized session that provides a complete understanding of IMSE’s enhanced Orton-Gillingham method and the tools necessary to apply it in the classroom. After participating in this training, teachers will be able to assess, evaluate and teach children how to read, write, and spell proficiently. This was a 30 hour interactive training with over 50 attendees from just over 20 districts.
Participants in the Striving Grant Consortium were engaged for two days with presenter Nikki Woodruff as she taught about developmental reading assessments. Assessments can be utilized to customize next steps for readers-closing achievement gaps and enriching the instructional landscape during ELA for all learners!
