Striving Readers Grant kicks off with a day of learning.
Joining the 275 educators were two national literacy experts: Kylene Beers and Robert Probst. Beers and Probst were attending to help train and teach those involved techniques and methods to increase literacy, starting from birth and working all the way up through 12th grade.
