Academic Challenge High School Tournament

It’s was snowing and cold outside but the competition heated up between 18 teams in two Varsity brackets, and two JV brackets on Monday, November 19th.   Mid-Ohio ESC’s Academic Challenge was a great success with 17 districts competing.   Congratulations to all the schools that attended: St. Peter's, Shelby, Hillsdale, Mansfield Senior, Mansfield Christian, Highland, Ontario, Bucyrus, Madison, Crestview, Mapleton, Galion, Tiffin, Col Crawford, Plymouth-Shiloh, Lexington and Mt. Vernon,

Winning teams:

Varsity Runner up - was Crestview

Kyver Farr, Tyler Wheeler, Brooklynn Campbell, Izach Littlefield, Logan Smith and Dawson Hale.

JV Runner up - was Tiffin

The next High School tournament will be held at Mid-Ohio ESC, 890 West fourth street, Mansfield, Ohio on March 21st.   Parents, family and friends are always welcome to attend the Academic Challenge.  The public is welcome to stop by and watch a few rounds and be intrigued by our area students.
