At Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, we are committed to fostering the growth and success of future professionals in education. Our development programs are designed to support individuals pursuing certification in key areas such as Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), School Psychology, and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). Through these programs, participants receive graduate tuition reimbursement, mentorship, professional development opportunities, and more, all while making a commitment to serve our districts and communities upon licensure.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Development Program

The BCBA Development Program is designed to identify, recruit, and retain qualified candidates for BCBA certification. Participants benefit from graduate tuition reimbursement, guaranteed supervision hours, engagement with behavior support team members, professional development, and regular networking opportunities. To qualify, candidates must be accepted into an accredited BACB graduate program. Upon completing full-time coursework, meeting supervision requirements, and passing the BCBA board exam, participants commit to five years of employment with Mid-Ohio ESC.

School Psychology Development Program

This program seeks to recruit candidates for School Psychology certification, offering support throughout their academic journey and beyond. Benefits include graduate tuition reimbursement, engagement with school psychology professionals, professional development opportunities, and regular networking sessions. Eligible candidates must be accepted into an accredited school psychology graduate program. After completing their coursework and internship, and obtaining licensure from the Ohio Department of Education, participants are required to commit to five years of employment with Mid-Ohio ESC.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Development Program

The SLP Development Program aims to recruit and retain candidates for Speech-Language Pathology certification. Participants enjoy benefits such as graduate tuition reimbursement, engagement with SLP professionals, professional development, and networking opportunities. To be eligible, candidates must be accepted into an accredited SLP graduate program. After completing their coursework and clinical fellowship year (CFY) and obtaining licensure from both the Ohio SLP Board and the Ohio Department of Education, participants commit to five years of employment with Mid-Ohio ESC.
