Please join National Presenter William Van Cleave on June 18 or June 19 as he provides a fantastic “Virtual” learning opportunity for our Striving Readers Consortium district administrators and teachers. To accommodate schedules, we are offering two different days and two different times you can attend. You can select to attend the time that works best for your schedule.
Elementary Teachers K-5

- 3-hour virtual PD with Van Cleave and follow assignment in SRG Literacy Lab Google classroom required
- Stipend of $150 for attending PD session and completing assignment
- CEU’s awarded at completion by Mid-Ohio ESC
- Bringing Words to Life (Beck, McKeown, Kucan) will be purchased as an accompanying book resource pending available grant funds

**** In order to receive your stipend, Mid-Ohio ESC must have a current W-9 form on file. If you have attended any Striving Readers PD within the last two years and received a stipend, we most likely have a W-9 form on file for you and you do not need to complete. However, if you have not attended a Striving Readers PD or your personal information has changed, please download and complete the provided W-9 form following the outlined steps below:
- Download a blank form here and upload it with your registration
- Complete the form and then choose print for the destination
- Change your printer to Save as PDF
- Choose a location to save the file then upload it during your registration.
