This in-person and interactive training is designed to assist new educators in navigating the Resident Educator’s program requirements. The training will include the background of the program, teacher responsibilities, mentor expectations, and coordinator responsibilities.
We strongly encourage REs to invite their mentors and/or RESA coordinator to attend the training free of charge. This training will provide an opportunity for the RE and the mentor to work together and gain a deeper understanding of the RESA program.
There will be a zoom option available for REs and mentors who are unable to attend in person. 
Year-one REs are encouraged to attend the year-three session to learn more about the assessment process.

I am three years in - What is this assessment? Navigating Year Three of the RESA program
This in-person and interactive training is designed to assist year-three REs in navigating the Resident Educator’s assessment requirements. The assessment is summative in nature and consists of one Lesson Reflection that requires resident educators to demonstrate reflection and decision making regarding their instructional practices.
We strongly encourage year-three REs to invite their mentors and/or RESA coordinator to attend the training free of charge. This training will provide an opportunity for the RE and the mentor to work together on planning and preparing for the assessment.
There will be a zoom option available for REs and mentors who are unable to attend in person.

COST: $75.00 for RE to attend (Mentor and or Coordinator free with paid RE)
Team Time? REs and Mentors Work Session
Mid-Ohio offering REs, mentors, and coordinators an opportunity to work, plan, and prepare for the year’s activities. This work session will be open from 1:00-3:00 pm and is included in the cost of the training. This is not required; it is only an opportunity for your team to work together. A Mid-Ohio consultant will be present to answer questions and offer support.
