The Search
Crestline Exempted Village School District Board of Education is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Interim Treasurer. It is anticipated that the Interim Treasurer will start as soon as possible.
The Crestline Exempted Village School District is seeking qualified applicants with a strong financial background, sense of integrity, self-directed, possesses strong financial analysis skill’s, detailed oriented and a strong communicator. While seeking a full-time Interim Treasurer candidate, the Board of Education will also entertain shared treasurer services with a highly qualified veteran treasurer. The Board of Education will offer a salary that is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Crestline Exempted Village School District, nestled in the southeast corner of Crawford County, currently serves 550 students on a single campus. Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications and experiences:
▪ Hold a valid State of Ohio Treasurer’s license or evidence that one will be obtained;
▪ Hold a Certified Public Investment Certification;
▪ Previous School Treasurer experience preferred;
▪ Experience in fiscal procedures; ▪ Sound fiscal management procedures;
▪ Experience in school finance, budget preparation, fiscal strategic planning and forecasting, funds management and business operations;
▪ Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills;
▪ Knowledge of Ohio Revised Code as it relates to school treasurer and treasurer responsibilities;
▪ Ability to skillfully provide financial leadership for the district;
▪ Demonstrates a high degree of moral character and professionalism that reflects positively upon the district.
