Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Treasurer Search
The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, located in Richland County, is seeking qualified applicants to replace their current Treasurer, Lorraine Earnest, who has successfully served the Board of Governors for the past twenty years. The new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Treasurer would be expected to start January 1, 2024, and will have an opportunity to work with Treasurer Earnest through a transition period.
About Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center:
MOESC provides specialized academic and support services to 13 school districts and over 20,000 students in Crawford, Morrow, and Richland Counties. Client districts receive services from curriculum, gifted and special education consultants, speech pathologists, psychologists, special education teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, vision & mobility supports, and behavioral supports. In addition to supporting client and member districts, MOESC provides educational services to two private residential treatment facilities, Abraxas and F.I.R.S.T. schools. The MOESC Board of Governors also serves as the community school sponsor for GOAL Digital Academy and The Tomorrow Center. Purpose Statement The purpose of Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center is to meet the needs of client districts, provide high quality training, networking, and support for our client and member districts. Treasurer Transition:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to transition with and learn from the current treasurer before her retirement. The Board will provide a competitive compensation package. A multiple-year contract with annual reviews and evaluations will be offered to the successful candidate. The actual salary and fringe benefits will be commensurate with the education and experience of the candidate.
